As said elsewhere, this seems to be about the Japanese woman who married Pu Yi's brother.. looks like this area of history is the new in thing for dramas. Star studded cast - two familiar faces.. Some parts of the story are really sad, but it has some really good acting in it. It is the same time period, the same plot, and some of the same characters. I am pretty sure Pu Yi is in here but I wonder if they will showcase the Empress or Kawashima Yoshiko. After closely watching the commercials for this during Shinsengumi last night (they must have aired it two dozen times!) i spotted a lady in an army uniform talking to the main character - it was Yoshiko! She talked in the same tone as the Yoshiko does in the Last Empress.. and just the overall attitude.. wow, what was up with her? Was she obsessed with the lovelife of the brothers of the Qing Dynasty? Trying to pull the girl with the brother in this episode - and trying to get two women to be w/ the emperor in the Last Empress!? What a matchmaker!
