• Synopsis
Odagiri plays Kiriyama Shuuichiro who works as an information management officer in the prefectural police station. As he is very observant and has interest in the unresolved cases which have gone past the legal time frame (statute of limitations) i.e. the culprit cannot be charged even if he/she is caught, he investigates the cases without permission with the aim of "confirming" the culprit only. Some charateristics of this character would be his dark green spectacles, his wallet containing 20,000 yen at all times and he likes udon and nyuumen. --DramaWiki

The hero of this drama is a police officer whose responsibilities are to organize criminal documents that have met their statute of limitation. Kiriyama (Jo Odagiri) is a police officer working at a Statute of Limitation Management Department. While daily filing information on unsolved crimes that were abandoned by the law and the police due to expiration of the statute of limitation, he suddenly comes up with a new idea. “Yes, I found my new personal hobby! Follow up investigations of these forgotten cases!” Can Kiriyama win the outrun criminal? Can a serious investigation become a personal recreation? i watch this drama a long time ago. this man had problems with either tax or credit. he found out about this secret group who will help this man. then this group helps people who have these problems. what drama is this? is it called "fly by night"?

Did UTB show it back when they were on ch. 56? The japanese title is Yonigeya Honpo. It also goes by the titles Angels On Loan and Flight By Night. I remember it being a really good show.

I am hoping that Odagiri is wearing that terrible, illfitting uniform as part of his character. Such a weird blue colour as well. Another hairstyle this time....
